Archana Panda

Archana Panda is a renowned poet, singer and dancer in the Indo-American community. She also is a fantastic anchor and has been a successful M.C for many popular events including Tranquility-2008( a concert by Pandit Habib Khan, Pandit Swapan Chaudhary & students at the saraswati gurukul), Diwali Mela in Sunnyvale Hindu temple 2007, Induz Carnivale, Kavi Sammelans etc. Archana anchored many episodes of the successful T.V show SargamTV.

Profession

Archana is a software engineer -a front end web developer. She has worked as a consultant for companies like Yahoo Inc., eBay, Intuit, Xilinx, National Semiconductor etc. Presently, she is working for Oracle as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
She worked as a credentialed public school teacher in Fremont Unified school district for 4 years. She also was a eigth grade science teacher with Campbell Union school district for one year.
Archana volunteers to teach Hindi at various institutes in the bay area like I.C.C. (India Community center), Vidyabharti etc.

Publications

Archana's first poetry book "Srijani" was launched at the Vishwa Hindi sammelan, New York on March 2007.
Her poems have been published in the book "Pravasini ke Bol" compiled by Dr Anjana Sandhir. This book is a collection of Hindi poems written by poetesses living in the USA.

Archana was one of the five poets selected across USA whose poems were compiled in the poetry book "Dhoop Gandh Chandni". This book was launched in Princeton University on March 15, 2009. Other poets featured in this book were Rakesh Khandelwalji, Ghanshyam Guptaji, Beena Todiji and Vishakhaji. Education

Archana accomplished her Electrical Engineering degree from I.G.I.T Sarang, Orissa- India. She completed her M.B.A in Information Technology from S.P.jain Institute of Management, Bombay, India. Archana holds a clear professional teaching credential from San Jose State University.

Family

Archana lives at Santa Clara, California with her husband- Shiv Pachori and three children-Priya, Luv and Kush. She acknowledges her husband Shiv, her father- Dr.P.Panda, mom-Sailabala Panda, brother-Dr.D.P.Panda and sister-Dr.Vandana Panda(Goel) for all her laurels.

अर्चना पंडा बे-एरिया अमेरिका की एक सुविख्यात कवयत्री हैं | कविता  के साथ इनकी गहरी रूचि गायन , वादन, नृत्य, भाषा एवं साहित्य में भी  है | अर्चना ने  कई प्रसिद्ध आयोजनों में एंकरिंग   किया है | अर्चना  ने टी वी पर भी एक सफल एंकर के रूप अपना नाम किया था | टैक्सस के "रेडियो सलाम नमस्ते" में इनकी कई कवितायें एवं चर्चाओं का प्रसारण किया गया है |

पेशे से अर्चना एक सॉफ्टवेर इंजीनियर है एवं सिलिकन वैली में वेब डेवलपर का काम कर रही हैं | इन्होने बड़े बड़े कंपनियों के साथ काम किया है जैसे  जैसे याहू, इ बे, नसनल सेमी कंदुक्टोर, Xilinx, intuit , इत्यादि | अर्चना भारत से इन्गिनियारिंग एवं .बी. ऐ कर के १९९९ में अमेरिका आयीं थीं |
अर्चना बे एरिया के कई सामाजिक संस्थानों पर हिन्दी पढाती हैं | अमेरिका में  हिन्दी के प्रचार में इन्होने बहुत  योगदान  दिया है | अर्चना ने एक टीचर बनकर चार वर्ष अमेरिका में बच्चों के जीवन को बहुत करीब से देखा है |
अर्चना के परिवार में इनके  पति शिव पचौरी एवं तीन बच्चे -प्रिया, लव , कुश हैं जिन्हें अर्चना अपने लेखन का आधार स्तम्भ मानती हैं | अर्चना के माता, पिता, भाई एवं बहिन डाक्टर हैं एवं अमेरिका के विभिन्न शहरों में बसे हैं |
अर्चना की पहली काव्य रचना संकलन "सृजनी" विश्व हिन्दी सम्मलेन २००७ में न्यू यार्क में विमोचित हुई थी |
